St Nectans Glen – Near Tintagel

There are welly boots that you can borrow at the top that enable you to comfortably walk through the river, but if you want to brave the cold water you can go barefoot. The water doesn’t seem to go past the middle of your shin

St Nectans Glen is a sweet woodland walk down to an amazing Waterfall. Parking is free but you have to pay to get into the actual woodland with the waterfall.

On the walk down to the waterfalls there are lots of ‘offerings’ and rock stacks. It makes it feel very magical.

Walk details:

  • What’s the duration? 1 – 2 hours (dependant on pace)
  • What’s the difficulty? Moderate – We went on a hot day which made the walk harder, see below map showing you us accidentally walking 8 miles.
  • Is there any Livestock? No
  • Can my dog be off-lead? Yes
  • Price? £5.95 for an adult. £4.70 for a child.
Me and my pawrents decided to walk to St Nectans glen and we didn’t realise there is a shop in Tintagel called St Nectans Glen. So, a walk back through the way we came, a coastal walk and a walk round actual St Nectans Glen later, we had accidentally walked 8 miles.
