The Cornish Seal Sanctuary. What a lovely little place to spend a few hours.

We were concerned that we may find the sanctuary boring as two young adults but it kept us more than entertained. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of things there were to do. There’s (obviously) seals, otters, penguins, horses, sheep and goats to look at as well as a cafe, kids play area and woodland walks. There were also some fun animal facts around the site that we didn’t know before.

The only areas you are unable to take your furry friends is the cafe (inside – but there is a lovely outside picnic area where you can have them) and the seal hospital (for obvious reasons). We expected to be the only guests with a dog but were so surprised to see around 4 other guests/families walking around with dogs.
We spent around 2 hours at the park and we did two of the woodland walks as well as looking at all of the animals and stopping for a quick snack.

Excited to meet Pumpkin the Seal

My Pawrents bought me a Seal toy from the gift shop. I love him and will name him after my favourite Seal – Pumpkin
