Rough Tor is a lovely countryside walk with lots of open space where you can see some awesome rock formations. Parking is free so you don’t need to worry about carrying around annoying coins. Unfortunately there aren’t any bins up here, so please take any rubbish home with you.

Walk details:

• Whats the duration? Between 1 – 1.5 hours (pace dependant)
• What’s the difficulty? Easy walk to the tor, however the climb is moderate
• Is there any livestock? Yes. Sheep, Cows, Horses.
• Can my dog be off-lead? It is recommended that dogs are kept on the lead because of the livestock and uneven ground. Zeppelin has no interest in livestock and an excellent recall, so we were able to let him off.
